I started working with Kim in June 2023 with the goal of going from nearly zero singing experience to competent enough that I could land an audition in a musical. Within 6 months, just at the end of the year, I managed to do just that; getting my first ever musical theatre role in the Ensemble for a local production of Heathers.

I've already got another audition lined up, and I just feel ecstatic that I'm finally able to engage in musical theatre in the way I've wanted to for years. I definitely plan on continuing with her into the future, and would highly recommend to anyone who's looking to get a start in musical theatre - I feel so much more confident and in control than I was when I started, it really does blow my mind."

Peyton Blair, Peabody

I started voice lessons with Kim in early 2021 to improve my use of my voice for content creation, namely livestreams and cover recordings/karaoke. Having started with absolutely no vocal or performing experience, I've now done multiple Showcase performances with live audiences and learned much about how to control my voice and know what it sounds like for recording.

Kim has been very good about helping me both become grounded in standards but also in applying what I've learned to my very specific fields of interest (primarily Japanese vocaloid songs.)

It's been an invaluable experience becoming more comfortable and confident in the use of my voice, as well as more literate in music performance. I've also gone much farther with in-person live performance than I ever expected to, which has been great for expanding my comfort zone."
