About KLVS

What exactly do we do here?

Hi, my name is Kim, and I am very excited to meet you!

I believe that ALL people have something to say with their voice. (Yes, even people who believe they are tone deaf.)

All humans are unique, wonderful, worthy individuals who have something of value to share with the world, whether that be on the largest of stages and platforms, or within their small chosen circle. At KLVS, you are guaranteed to receive unwavering support and belief in you and your goals.

Your lesson experience at KLVS is exactly that - YOURS. From the moment you walk into your first session, you are in the driver’s seat. If you know what you want, but not how to get there - I will help you to identify what’s holding you back, and make sure that you have the necessary tools and skills to get you where you want to go.

And, if you’re not totally sure what it is that you might want…or perhaps have not even dared to ask yourself the question before?  I am here to support you as you do the necessary work to uncover what tit is that you want for yourself, and will hold space for you as you allow yourself to dream.

KLVS guides students to find confidence, clarity, and ease in their singing, shedding past narratives of self judgment, fear, and shame, so that they can show up in the spaces that matter most to them, freely able to express their authentic selves.

That’s a pretty big statement, for sure. So, how is this accomplished?

  • Through cultivating a tight-knit community of Studio members, where mutual support and investment is prioritized.

  • By creating one-of-a-kind, unforgettable performance experiences that give students the opportunity to explore their edge and challenge themselves, all within a container of guidance, support, and encouragement.

  • Through weekly lessons and all-inclusive resources that support learning and growth in all the in-between times.

  •  Through intentional goal setting and progress tracking so that students are able to appreciate the strides they are making, in real time.

I have been training with Kim for over four years and have done nothing but grow from the experience. Kim is an excellent teacher that adapts to the learning needs of the student. She motivates constantly and provides encouragement when needed. Kim makes her lessons suitable for the intentions of the performer-whether someone who is participating as a hobby or someone who is training for a career. During lessons Kim creates a well-rounded student; one who knows proper technique, terminology, acting skills, and one who is able to use their skills outside of the classroom. Kim not only sculpts great performers, but good people."
